This action to the memory of victims was being held monthly throughout the year in major European cities, as well as in Israel and several cities of Australia.
Citizans of Odessa began to bring flowers to the Kulikovo Pole already in the morning. According to general estimates, about 5,000 people came to honor the memory of citizens who were killed and tortured. It was namely on this square, at the Building of Trade Unions, where a year ago an anti-government protest camp of the opponents to the Maidan, was set on fire on May 2 as well as the building of Trade Unions, in which anti-governmental activists and casual passers-by tried to escape and rescue themselves.

In some European cities the actions dedicated to the memory of those killed in Odessa, were held monthly. In almost all European capitals and cities there were photo exhibitions, meetings with witnesses, actions of protests dedicated to the events of May 2, 2014 in Odessa.
In Riga the mass meeting sanctified to memory of victims of the Odessa tragedy was organized by the party "Russian Union of Latvia". Opposite the embassy of Ukraine activists opened out transparencies "Never again!", "We demand international investigation".

A few dozens of protesting people gathered at the Main Post Office in Dublin in the center of the city. With the same requirements the actions of protests passed in Stockholm, Warsaw, Moscow, Strasbourg, Amsterdam, Vienna, Copenhagen, Rome, Paris and London. In Brussels passed two manifestations, sanctified to the anniversary of the Odessa tragedy, 2nd and 5th May, just opposite the building of the European parliament. In Germany the victims of the tragedy were remembered in Berlin, Hamburg and Osnabrücke. In Madrid, as in Berlin and Hamburg, besides the mass meeting a musical concert was performed with the title "All Europe sings for Odessa".

In small Italian city near Milan, Ceriano-Leghetto, on a recently opened square named "The Martyrs of Odessa" there appeared a monument to the victims of the Holocaust in Odessa (WWII) and to those who were brutally killed and burnt alive a year ago in the House of Trade Unions on May, 2nd 2014 in Odessa. It is the first monument dedicated to this frightful tragedy which is executed in character of blazing flames with a flying pigeon at the background and the inscription "In memory of the martyrs of Odessa".
